SriLankan Airlines flight UL 605 which was delayed in Melbourne, Australia for 30 hours due to a mechanical failure, has landed at Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) in Katunayake around 7.40 am today.

The flight was due to take off on the 15th of April from Melbourne, but was delayed because of a mechanical error in the A330-300 plane.

However, the passengers have complained that no Sri Lankan officials attended the problem.
