Julie Kozack, the IMF’s communications director, announced that an IMF fact-finding mission will visit Sri Lanka from 22 to 28 January. 

The mission aims to assess the impact of the recent Cyclone Ditwah on the country’s economy and infrastructure. 

The team will engage in policy discussions concerning Sri Lanka's Extended Fund Facility (EFF) program, focusing on economic recovery strategies and support measures.
