Police arrested 1,025 suspects during island-wide raids on yesterday(22) under the “Nation United – National Drive” campaign to curb narcotics, the Police Media Division s=announced.

Detention orders were obtained for 22 suspects, while twenty others were referred for rehabilitation.

Large quantities of drugs were seized, including heroin, crystal methamphetamine, cannabis, narcotics tablets and other illicit substances, along with more than 115,000 cannabis plants.
