Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa has extended Milad-un-Nabi greetings to Sri Lankan Muslims, calling for respect, justice, kindness and brotherhood beyond racial and religious divisions.
Premadasa stated that Sri Lanka’s diversity should be turned into a strength rather than a source of division.
He also called for a society that respects differences and the rights and beliefs of all communities, while ensuring that no community is left behind.
He wished Sri Lankan Muslims a blessed Milad-un-Nabi, highlighting peace, justice and coexistence as key values for the country.
