Amith Weerasinghe, leader of the 'Mahason Balakaya' has been granted bail by the Colombo Additional Magistrate. Weerasinghe was taken into custody and remanded on May 14 for allegedly expressing racial and religious hatred among communities through social media platforms. The leader of the ' Mahason Balakaya' was arrested by the Colombo South Anti-Vice Divison in Teldeniya, Kandy and was produced before the Colombo Additional Magistrate.
