The Land Valuation Indicator (LVI) for Colombo District reached 236.8 in the second half of 2024, marking a 7.7% year-on-year increase, according to the Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL).
Residential, Commercial, and Industrial LVIs contributed to this growth, rising by 9.9%, 9.4%, and 3.9%, respectively.
The semi-annual increase was slower compared to the first half of 2024, with the highest growth observed in the Residential sector.
