A crude oil tanker is set to arrive in the country today (17), marking the first such arrival since the Middle East conflict began.
The tanker, managed by the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation, will carry 97,500 metric tons of crude oil.
Additionally, three more fuel tankers are expected to arrive this month.
An American crude oil tanker is also scheduled to arrive late next month, currently refueling and expected to reach the country in 45 days, according to the Managing Director of Ceylon Petroleum Corporation Mayura Netthikumarage.
