The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Employment has begun a programme to digitally transform its consular services.

A Digital Transformation Committee held its first meeting today (11), focusing on digitising the Consular Affairs Division and consular sections at Sri Lankan diplomatic missions overseas.

The programme will also focus on integrating government institutions with the consular system.
