Prime Minister Harini Amarasuriya has stated that the responsibility for transforming Sri Lanka does not rest solely with the Government.

Speaking at a ceremony in Colombo, she noted that the public has a shared responsibility to protect new facilities, use opportunities responsibly and help preserve them for future generations.

She also highlighted the role of the Maha Sangha in strengthening social values and supporting the country’s development efforts.
