Ministry of Defence (MOD) has warned of a human trafficking network recruiting locals and foreigners into forced labour at cybercrime centres in East Asia under the guise of IT jobs. 

Five such centres have been identified, with fake job ads used to lure victims. 

Eleven Sri Lankans have already been trafficked, including some from Dubai. 

The public is urged to be cautious about job offers in Thailand, Myanmar, Cambodia, and Laos.
