An accident took place in Toppass along the Nuwara Eliya-Kandy road, which caused a bus to be overturned and left over 20 individuals injured. 

According to Police, none of the injuries were serious, and the injured passengers were admitted to the District General Hospital in Nuwara Eliya for treatment. 

At the time of the accident, the bus was carrying 54 people from Kurunegala to Badulla. 

The cause of the accident remains unknown as authorities continue investigations.
