The Under-15 Division 1 inter schools cricket tournament conducted by Sri Lanka Schools Cricket Association and sponsored by Sri Lanka Cricket is all set to begin in the last week in May with 86 teams in 13 groups.
Nalanda College Colombo and St. Anthony’s College Katugastota were declared as joint-champions in the last season in the Division 1 segment.
The First round of matches will be played in a league format among 13 groups and will come to an end by 5 July. The top two teams of each group and six best third teams will be selected to the next round. All together 32 teams will be qualified for the knockout round.

Taxila Central College Horana emerged champions last year as Sri Sumangala College Hikkaduwa ended as the runner up.
First round of matches (195 matches) will be played in a league format among 13 groups. Best two (2) teams from each group and 6 best third 6 teams will be selected from all groups.
