President Anura Kumara Dissanayake has thanked Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi for supporting Sri Lanka during the ongoing energy crisis.

A 38,000 MT fuel shipment from India arrived in Colombo yesterday (28) following recent discussions between the two leaders.

The supply was provided to ease shortages caused by Middle East supply disruptions.
