The Cabinet has approved signing a Memorandum of Understanding(MoU) between the Sri Lanka Institute of Tourism and Hotel Management and the Central Academy of Culture and Tourism Administration of China.

The agreement will establish cooperation in educational exchange, professional training, joint research, faculty development and knowledge sharing.

The proposal was submitted by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment and Tourism. The MoU includes observations from the Attorney General.
