The Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka is expected to announce its decision on the proposed electricity tariff revision by the end of March.

The Ceylon Electricity Board has proposed a 13.56% tariff increase for the period from 1 April to 30 June.

Public consultation sessions on the proposal are currently underway.
