The University of Moratuwa has closed all faculties for two weeks due to the risk of dengue fever spreading.

The closure took effect on 06 July, while lectures and other academic activities will continue online.

The decision was taken after several students with fever reportedly attended university examinations.

The university is scheduled to resume on-campus academic activities on 21 July.
