Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa has expressed solidarity with the people and Government of Nepal following devastating floods and landslides that have killed at least 162 people.

In a post on X, Premadasa stated that he was deeply distressed by the devastation and extended his thoughts to the families of those who died and the hundreds still missing.

He also expressed support for rescue teams involved in ongoing search and rescue operations.
