On the afternoon of 31 August 2025, the Central Link Toastmasters Club joined hands with the Kegalle Toastmasters Club to celebrate the Club Officer Installation and New Member Induction of both clubs. The event was held at the Radisson Hotel overlooking the Kandyan hills. This day marked the dawn of a new legacy, as seasoned leaders passed the torch to a new generation of trailblazers determined to take their clubs to greater heights. For the Toastmasters year 2025/26, TM Dulain Gunawardhane was installed as the President of Central Link Toastmasters Club, while TM Upani Yasasmi assumed the presidency of Kegalle Toastmasters Club. Both leaders, who have demonstrated remarkable passion and commitment throughout their Toastmasters journeys, expressed heartfelt gratitude to their clubs and shared their visions for the exciting year ahead. As the badges were exchanged, the excitement of new beginnings filled the air.

The event also included the new member inductions for both clubs, where the spotlight was shed on the budding members of both clubs, warmly welcoming them to the extraordinary journey that lies ahead. The day was further decorated with speeches from immediate past presidents of both clubs, who fondly reminisced about the milestones of the past year and extended their appreciation to the committees whose dedication made it all possible.

The afternoon was wrapped up with grace, as warm wishes were exchanged and smiles were spread all across, while the sunset coloured the Kandyan hills, serving as a reminder of the beauty of both endings and new beginnings.
