Foreign Minister Vijitha Herath will undertake official visits to New Zealand and Australia from 26 May to 3 June at the invitation of the two governments.

According to the Foreign Ministry, Herath is scheduled to hold bilateral discussions with New Zealand Foreign Minister Winston Peters and Australian Foreign Minister Penny Wong.

He is also expected to meet government officials, business leaders, academics, think tanks and members of the Sri Lankan community in both countries.

The visit will also include the ceremonial opening of the Sri Lanka High Commission in Wellington.
