During the main Easter Mass, Malcolm Ranjith called for global peace, warning that humanity is suffering due to the actions of power-driven leadership.
Addressing the congregation, he stressed that Christianity goes beyond rituals and scripture, emphasisng love, compassion, and service to others.
He urged prayers for world peace and for a change in the hearts of those driven by domination, noting that true leadership should be rooted in serving people rather than exercising power.
The Cardinal also highlighted the importance of living with purpose, accountability, and care for others, especially in a time of global uncertainty.
