Cabinet Spokesperson Nalinda Jayatissa stated that Sri Lanka will grant a two-week visa extension to foreigners stranded due to Middle East-related flight restrictions.

He made the announcement at a briefing at the Department of Government Information.

The Minister noted that no fees will be charged for the visa extension.
