The Supreme Court has dismissed two Fundamental Rights petitions challenging the State of Public Emergency declared after Cyclone Ditwah.

The petitions alleged that the emergency proclamation violated Fundamental Rights.

The decision was delivered by a three-judge bench headed by Chief Justice Preethi Padman Surasena.
