The verdict in the case against 24 defendants over the 2019 Easter Sunday attacks is scheduled to be delivered tomorrow (22).

The defendants face more than 23,270 charges, including allegations of conspiring to carry out and aiding and abetting the attacks.

The trial was heard before a three-judge High Court bench, with 2,309 prosecution witnesses testifying.

Evidence from both the prosecution and defence was concluded on 24 August.
