The outgoing Deputy High Commissioner of India to Sri Lanka, Satyanjal Pandey, paid a farewell call on Defence Secretary Sampath Thuyacontha at the Ministry of Defence today(09).

During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on the longstanding relations between Sri Lanka and India, according to the Ministry of Defence.

The Defence Secretary also expressed appreciation for Dr. Pandey’s contribution towards strengthening bilateral ties during his tenure in Sri Lanka.
