SriLankan Airlines posted a Group loss of LKR 2,735 million for the 2024/25 fiscal year, down from a LKR 7,925 million profit in 2023/24.

The drop was mainly due to a lower foreign exchange gain compared to the previous year.

Excluding exchange effects, the airline’s underlying operational loss improved to LKR 6,660 million from Rs. 18,792 million in 2023/24, reflecting progress in operational performance.
