Six individuals have been injured following a collision between two buses in the Mahagodaya area on the Buttala–Monaragala main road, police stated.

The accident involved an SLTB bus travelling from Wellawaya to Monaragala and a private bus travelling from Matara to Ampara.

The injured have been admitted to hospital for treatment. Buttala Police are investigating.
