The Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) and the National Muslim Front(NMF) today formed an alliance for the forthcoming elections. The alliance was launched at an event held in Dehiwala today. Leading lawyer Ali Sabry and former UNP member and Western Province Governor A.J.M. Muzammil  are a part of the new alliance.
