Two persons have been hospitalized after SLPP parliamentarian S. B. Dissanayake's security guards opened fire at a group alleged to have obstructed the path of his convoy. Police Media spokesperson Ruwan Gunasekara said the incident took place at 8.30 p.m. in Ginigathhena. Dissanayake's vehicle had left the location following the incident.
