Actress Damitha Abeyratne's name has reportedly not been included in the nomination list for the Ratnapura District. 

Upon arriving at the District Secretary’s office today (11) to sign for the Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB), she learned that her name was absent. 

Abeyratne had previously announced her intention to contest the upcoming general election representing the SJB from Ratnapura.
