The Sri Lanka Transport Board (SLTB) has deployed special buses for students sitting the G.C.E. Advanced Level examination who were affected by the travel disruption caused by the rockfall in Lower Kadugannawa.

According to Deputy General Manager P.H.R.T. Chandrasiri, buses from the Mawanella Depot are now operating through alternative routes to ensure students can reach Kandy.

Commissioner General of Examinations Indika Kumari Liyanage urged any candidates unable to reach their exam centres to contact the nearest Zonal Education Office or call 117 or 1911. 

She also advised students to plan their travel early due to adverse weather conditions.
