Former State Minister Diana Gamage has stated before the Colombo Magistrate’s Court that she is not guilty of the allegations of the violation of immigration and emigration laws.

Gamage has stated this after the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) read seven charge sheets against her before the Court yesterday (1). Accordingly, the Court has decided to take up the relevant case. The CID had filed these charge sheets against Gamage under the charges, including staying in Sri Lanka without a valid visa, and making false statements to the Immigration and Emigration officials.
