The “Happy Streets” event yesterday (3) drew large crowds but ended with Marine Drive’s Colpetty stretch covered in garbage. 

Despite being promoted as Sri Lanka’s first official street nightlife, the aftermath included piles of trash, open garbage bags, and scattered waste. 

Organisers have yet to comment on the situation.
