Police revealed that a school teacher, who serves in the Ambalangoda educational zone has been injured in a shooting incident in Balapitiya this morning (26).
The victim had also served as a deputy principal of a leading school in Ambalangoda and was gunned down near the Balapitiya Court while travelling on a motorcycle.
Meanwhile, another motorcyclist was shot at in the Andadola area of Ambalangoda yesterday (25).
However, no casualties were reported in this shooting.
