President Anura Kumara Dissanayake has appointed S. A. Nimal Saranatissa as the new Chairman of the Public Service Commission (PSC).

Seven other members have also been appointed to the Commission to fill vacancies created after the expiry of the previous term.

The letters of appointment were presented by Secretary to the President Dr. Nandika Sanath Kumanayake at the Presidential Secretariat.
