The Attorney General has ordered the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) to arrest the Swiss Embassy staffer and produce her before court for fabricating false evidence.

The Swiss Embassy staffer had claimed she was abducted, harassed and questioned by an unidentified group on the 25 of November. Earlier today, the Swiss Embassy staffer was produced to the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) in Angoda for a mental health examination. The report on her mental health condition will be produced before the Colombo Chief Magistrate’s Court tomorrow (17).
