The Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment (SLBFE) has started a series of programs to educate police officers on anti-human trafficking laws, the SLBFE Act, and investigative techniques.

The initiative comes after a rise in Sri Lankans falling victim to foreign employment scams via social media and other platforms.

The first program was held at the Anuradhapura District Secretariat auditorium, aiming to help law enforcement protect job seekers and prosecute offenders effectively.
