President Anura Kumara Dissanayake met with the new Board of the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce today at the Presidential Secretariat. 

During the meeting, President Dissanayake outlined the government's economic approach, which focuses on integrating the state and private sectors to achieve development goals. 

The President stressed the importance of clear policies and goals to support economic growth and ensure social and environmental sustainability. 

In turn, the Chamber's new board, led by Chairman Krishan Balendra, presented their vision, future plans, and proposals for the upcoming national budget. 

Senior officials from both the government and the Chamber, including Senior Economic Advisor to the President Duminda Hulangamuwa, were in attendance.
