Chandrakanthi Liyanage clocked 8.53.68 to finish 3rd in the women’s Single Sculls Heat 3 at the FY Water Centre in Hangzhou yesterday (20).
Earlier, Liyanage and Shiwangi Waihenage had to satisfy with a 5th place finish at the women’s Double Sculls Heat 1. Nafiran Niyas and Sampath Sagara did well to end as 4th in the men’s Double Sculls Heat 1. Niyas also finished 4th at Heat 2 of men’s Single Sculls.
