The Inland Revenue Department (IRD) has extended the deadline for senior citizens to apply for quarterly income tax refunds for the 2023/2024 assessment year until 30 June.
The extension follows numerous requests from elderly taxpayers, according to a statement by the Commissioner General of Inland Revenue.
Assistance and application services will be available at regional offices every Wednesday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., or on the following Thursday if Wednesday is a public holiday.
The IRD has urged eligible seniors to make use of the extended deadline and submit their claims early.
Further details can be obtained from the nearest regional IRD office.
