Sports Commune Co-Founder Goel is an entrepreneur with interests across digital security, insurance, and sports development. He is the Founder of Softsecure Infotech Ltd. and Shree Dhyan Insurance Brokers Ltd., and has supported youth cricket through tournaments for teenage players and corporate cricket initiatives.

The Jaffna Kings have also pre-signed Sri Lanka batter Bhanuka Rajapaksa and all-rounder Dunith Wellalage, giving the franchise a strong local foundation as they prepare for the upcoming season.

Welcoming the new ownership, LPL Director Samantha Dodanwela said: “Sri Lanka Cricket welcomes Sports Commune as the new ownership group of Jaffna Kings for LPL Season 6. Their commitment to cricket, youth engagement, and sports development adds further strength to the league.”

Innovative Production Group (IPG) Global Founder and Chairman Anil Mohan said: “Sports Commune brings cricketing knowledge, business experience, and digital engagement to Jaffna Kings. We look forward to supporting the franchise as part of a season focused on strong competition, fan engagement, and commercial opportunity.”

The new owners stated that their focus would be on building a disciplined, modern, and connected franchise that reflected the spirit of Jaffna Kings while investing in long-term sporting value.
