A total of 115,586 people from 35,169 families have been affected by the prevailing dry weather conditions across seven districts.

The Disaster Management Centre (DMC) stated that 35 Divisional Secretariat Divisions have been affected.

Meanwhile, the National Disaster Relief Services Centre is distributing drinking water to 113,406 people from 34,628 families facing water shortages.
