Import restrictions in force on 300 more items to be relaxed next week, says State Minister of Finance Ranjith Siyambalapitiya today (12).

He mentioned this via a twitter post.

The Government issued a gazette notification last year imposing import restrictions on more than 300 items including electronic equipment, sanitaryware, chocolates and food items.
