Sri Lanka’s Nuwan Indika clinched the Bronze medal in the men’s long jump (T44) event at the World Para Athletics Championships 2025, held in New Delhi, India on Thursday (2).
A seasoned para-athlete and multiple medallist, Indika most recently claimed a Bronze medal at the 2024 World Para Athletics Championships in Japan.
Competing in both the T44 and T64 categories, he has consistently delivered outstanding performances on the international stage.
At the 2022 Asian Para Games in China, he captured a Gold medal in the 100 m event and a Silver medal in the long jump. He also secured a Silver medal at the 2018 Asian Para Games in Indonesia.
