A total of 882 people were arrested during island-wide anti-drug raids conducted yesterday (January 17), police stated.
The operations were carried out under the “Nation United – National Drive” campaign, according to the Police Media Division.
Detention orders were obtained for nine suspects, while one person was referred for rehabilitation.
Police seized heroin, crystal methamphetamine (Ice), cocaine, cannabis, kush, hashish and narcotics pills during the raids.
