During a parliamentary debate on the Port City Commission Act regulations today (19), opposition MP Ravi Karunanayake announced that former President Ranil Wickremesinghe has undergone surgery in Singapore. 

He confirmed that the procedure was successful and extended his wishes for a swift recovery.
