Sri Lanka has been named the world’s most family-friendly country in a new report by Condé Nast Traveller and Remitly’s Immigration Index.

The ranking, based on education quality and childcare costs, placed Sri Lanka at No.1 with a strong education score (0.7/1.0) and an annual childcare cost of just $354.60. 

Sweden and Norway followed in second and third place, while the U.S. ranked 10th.
