On the instructions of Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Piyal De Silva a four-storied building at Boossa Navy Base was prepared to quarantine passengers arriving from virus hit countries.
Naval personnel have been trained by medical staff of the Karapitiya Teaching Hospital n quarantine procedures.
The quarantine centre can accommodate 136 people in need of such facilities.
