The President’s Media Division (PMD) revealed that the Kandy city has been thoroughly cleansed following the ‘Siri Dalada Wandanawa’ special exposition of the Sacred Tooth Relic. 

According to the PMD, the city was cleaned through the ‘Clean Sri Lanka’ initiative, and saw the participation of devotees, residents and other volunteers. 

The special exposition, which was held from 18 to 27 April, drew crowds of over 400,000 devotees arriving in Kandy in a day.
