The 2026 G.C.E. Advanced Level Examination begins today (10) and will continue until September 5 at 2,532 centres across Sri Lanka.

A total of 372,310 candidates are sitting the examination, including 264,496 school candidates and 107,814 private candidates.

Candidates have been advised to arrive at least one hour early and carry a valid NIC, driving licence or passport. Mobile phones, smartwatches, Bluetooth devices and notes are prohibited in examination halls.
