The Deputy Minister of Education Madhura Senevirathna addressed the ongoing investigations into the death of a second-year student from the Faculty of Technology at Sabaragamuwa University.

He revealed that a team from the Ministry of Health (MOH) launched an inquiry to assess any psychological factors that may have contributed to the student’s death. 

Accordingly, a team was already dispatched to Base Hospital Gampola to support the investigation.
